Meet the founder

In 2010, Menopause Livia Founder, Pro Athlete, Health and Fitness expert and mum of three, Livia Rees, was battling horrendous menopause. She went from having plenty of energy to feeling fatigued and drained almost overnight. Whilst striving to juggle super mum responsibilities and be productive at work, she was overwhelmed with night sweats, insomnia and brain fog.

“Ten years ago, early menopause blindsided me. One minute I was enjoying a successful career, happy marriage and the next my world was crumbling around me. It simply didn’t occur to me as a fit 40-year-old woman that I was in the throes of menopause. It’s not something you talked about, and certainly not something our mothers or teachers told us about.”
